Ever since I was young, my passion has been the ocean and the beautiful marine life. My passion evolved when I moved to Oahu, Hawaii, where I learned about freediving, spearfishing and the art of gyotaku. I began to explore the ocean with one deep breath at a time. 

It is a dreamlike world down there. It is quiet, calm, beautiful, and surreal. With each deep breath, I dive down to see hidden landscapes and beautiful life that few people get to experience up close. 

My art is inspired by my experiences in the water. Each piece is an exact imprint of a fish I caught. Whenever I look at my art, I am flooded with the memories and feelings of that moment in time. I remember the colorful reef beside me, the beautiful synchrony of the fish, and the serene silence of the deep. I remember giving thanks to the ocean for providing me with a healthy and delicious meal, as well as the smiles on the faces of those I shared it with.  

I hope that my art brings you the peace and beauty of the deep sea. I hope it inspires you to explore the realms of the ocean further, as well as take steps to protect it.
